- Coordinar lo relativo a la Planeación para el Desarrollo Municipal.
- Elaborar los lineamientos técnicos para la ejecución de las acciones de la Administración Pública Municipal
- Integrar programas sectoriales, especiales y anuales que deriven del Plan de Desarrollo Municipal.
- Dar Seguimiento a las solicitudes que se deriven de la demandas ciudadana.
- Elaborar anteproyectos de iniciativas de leyes, reglamentos, decretos, acuerdos y demás disposiciones jurídicas en el ámbito de su competencia.
- Impulsar acciones tendentes a la inovavion y el desarrollo institucional de los procesos de la administración pública municipal.
